Z Networks designs, builds, and implements network infrastructures for forward thinking companies. We offer remote helpdesk, desk side helpdesk, and architecture planning for variety of vertical markets with 20 - 500 employees. We also provide tier 1 and level 2 support for fortune 1000’s: specifically healthcare, financials institutes and compliance required companies.

Team Lead: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Supervises and trains field technicians (4-5 per Team Lead).
  • Has ongoing reviews, discussions, and teaching moments with technicians where improvement is needed regarding processes.
  • Shadows field technicians under their Leadership to ensure processes are followed in the office and in the field.
  • Would be the expert of all clients they are responsible for.
  • Attends at least 1 client visit per quarter for all clients they are responsible for.
  • Handles all Onboarding for new clients they are responsible for.
  • Communicates with field techs, coordinators, and clients about the status of every job.
  • Is responsible for having in-depth discussion about new projects with clients and what’s all entailed.
  • Works with Coordinator and Technicians to get projects moved forward.
  • Present with field tech on all projects 4 hours or more.
  • Manages personnel matters and discusses work responsibilities with field technicians.
  • Conducts performance reviews and any disciplinary measures for field technicians.
  • Identifies field operation solutions that will improve productivity.
  • Suggests skill development programs for field technicians.
  • Plans and schedules appropriate training programs.
  • Conducts weekly call with tech team to discuss issues, suggestions, concerns, goals, and news.
  • Covers for field technicians during PTO days.
  • Covers for other team leads during PTO days.
  • Manages all level 7 helpdesk tickets.
  • Manages all tickets for clients they are assigned to.


Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012
  • A+ Certification
  • Microsoft MCSE
  • Willingness to travel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience providing IT support over the phone or in person
  • Expert level familiarity with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 OS
  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting experience with PCs, Macs, and Laptops
  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server Environments
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, self-confidence
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Inspiring and engaging
  • Does not get lost in the details, but can look at the overall picture of situations
  • Ability to multi-task and stay on track
  • Must have the ability to travel and to train technicians and visit clients (if there are no Leads in that region)
