Technical Training Instructor (Ability to be based out of Wichita or Topeka)
Job description
The Technical Training Instructor will prepare and conduct company training programs for the development and growth of employees and the attainment of organizational strategic growth. They will research, plan, organize, prepare and conduct training programs, seminars, and conferences to support the educational offerings and support for all departments.
- Prepare and distribute instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids
- Schedule and prepare the physical setup for training
- Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training
- Assist other departments in putting on special training programs requested by them
- Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely manner
- Keep all training courses current and keep up with technical developments
- Schedule, test, and certify technicians on appropriate equipment
- Ability to read and apply documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions
- Is positive and upbeat, with the ability to work with a wide customer base
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills
- High school diploma
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Two to Four years training experience
