Experienced Technical Writer who can work remotely interviewing subject matter experts, working hands-on with our products, and writing clear
concise technical documentation for our customers' users.
Summary:
The Technical Writer composes written materials relating to instructions, guidelines and procedures for end-user usage, and organizes material
and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology. The Technical Writer
works closely with other project team members to understand the new product and document new guidelines and procedures. The customer
uses our products to gain deep understanding of how they function for the user.
Location is local to HQ or remote.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops technical documentation, in accordance with Company documentation development standards.
- Interviews subject matter experts, observes work processes, and communicates with business leaders and staff to research and analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and forms documentation.
- Prepares, packages, and presents draft documentation to management, compliance/risk, subject matter experts, and appropriate lines of business for review and publication approval.
- Secures, assembles, and archives accumulated documentation as needed.
- Conducts and attends all relevant meetings associated with job function, and completes tasks correctly and on time.
- Performs all related publication functions, as required.
- Maintains cohesive working relationships with all levels of management, line of business personnel, and team to effectively interface on all projects and deliverables.
- Follows the Companys policies and procedures and supports the Companys Core Values.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.
