Position Summary

The Department of Neurology is looking to hire a Technician B.

Responsibilities

  • Performing basic molecular biology and histology assays.
  • Providing supportive administrative duties for lab members and PI.
  • General lab ordering, mouse colony handling, mouse genotyping, tremor and physiology recording, immunohistochemistry, Western blot analysis, confocal microscopic imaging acquisition and data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical or related sciences, or equivalent in education, training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various related laboratory procedures and techniques preferred.
  • One year of related experience preferred.
  • Master degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,329.13 per year
