Technology Coordinator
JOB FUNCTION:
Coordinates with the technology team and Diocese subsidiaries with various tasks by helping manage the technology of our organization. Job responsibilities include helping with websites, database and application integration, API’s, helping to be compliant with technology standards and security, occasional Helpdesk support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for strength in software (moving information to new systems Monday.com and hubspot.com) and hardware support.
- Develop, implement, and monitor plans for effective use of technology.
- Coordinate and advise in the selection and purchase of software, hardware, and other electronic instructional resources.
- Oversee on-going technology professional development and follow-up
- Coordinate with technical support staff to ensure the technology works properly.
- Promote compliance with governmental standards, copyright, board policy, and acceptable use policies related to technology.
- Help Develop and support technology standards for staff.
- Collaborate with instructional services personnel to support effective instructional use of technology.
- Promote effective use of technology.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experienceas IT coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of IT systems and applications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with coding preferred, especially html, css, js
- Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus
- Familiar with importing and exporting and moving information between databases or softwares
- Familiar with API integrations
- Basic understanding of networks, live streaming, windows os, servers
- Experience in network management and help desk support
- Windows 365, Google Workspace admin
- Familiar with tech soup for non-profits a plus and technology grants
- Must promote and understand cyber security protocols
You should be knowledgeable in software, hardware and networks. Since end user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, excellent communication and people skills are required. You must also be a critical thinker and problem-solver with great attention to detail. You will be working with the Diocese in various tasks with Parishes, and other as needed locations probably traveling 10-15% of the time. Please send resume to mlennon@patersondiocese.org
