AtheleMED Telehealth Medical Assistant

Our Telehealth Medical Assistants (Tel-MAs) are an integral member of our care delivery team.

Our Tel-MAs are the face of our organization and work to ensure our patients receive high quality, compassionate, comprehensive health care services at the patient’s location.

As a Tel-MA, some of your responsibilities include:

· Setting up our ATP-Assisted Telehealth Platform™ at the point-of-care. You will receive training on how to set up and use the equipment

· Observing and charting patient environmental conditions

· Collecting and charting vital/signs – BP, Height/Weight, PSO2, Temp…

· Collecting and charting patient medical history, medications list, and current health concerns

· Working closely with remote Telehealth Providers – MD, NP, PA – to assist with comprehensive medical exams

· Provide patient education and advocacy

· Periodic follow up with patients

· Participate in community outreach events

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
