Job Title

Teradata System Admin

Technical/Functional Skills

• Hands on experience in DBA in Teradata
• UNIX shell scripting and Python skills.

Must - Have

•Great communication skills

Should perform the DBA related tasks in key areas of System Administration, Database Administration, Backup, Archive & Restore Management, Performance Management & Reporting.

Manages the day-to-day operations Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, Strategies defined for backup/recovery techniques, and problem determination and resolution

Manage Customer Meetings and Co-ordinating with Teradata GSC

Good to have

•Exposure of telecom domain

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

Candidate is expected to bring in a consultative mindset and problem solving approach and drive analytical throughput for the team

Candidate should have excellent people management skills and must have team lead experience in Analytics

Data mining using state-of-the-art methods. Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
