RLE Technologies has an open position for a Territory Sales Manager in the Phoenix area. We are a leading global provider of leak detection, monitoring solutions, raised access flooring and containment for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. More than 19 million feet of our patented leak detection cable is currently in service, preventing fluid damage in facilities worldwide.
With more than 30 years of experience in our industry, we hold several patents for our innovative products and the technology that powers our leak detection and facility monitoring controllers. Our customer portfolio includes NASA, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, the U.S. Navy and Air Force, USPS,
Hewlett Packard, Intel, Verizon, Comcast, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We proudly manufacture our products in Fort Collins, CO.
Job Responsibilities
- Create demand and communicate the value of RLE Technologies’ product offerings to potential customers through a variety of sales tactics including cold calling, following up on leads, on-site visits, client referrals, trade shows, networking, etc.
- Work with new and existing RLE customers to determine their needs, identify solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Increase market share through the effective use of channel resources.
- Deliver sales presentations, quote costs, negotiate contracts, discuss credit terms, prepare sales orders, etc.
- Recommend product enhancements to increase existing sales and attract new customers.
- Assist customers in the design of product configuration for their specific application and provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of RLE products.
- Advise customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products and pricing, and technical developments that effect target markets.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Consistently deliver on plan, forecast and other business objectives
- Work closely with RLE’s engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve product related issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related technical field; in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, related data center or technical sales experience may be considered.
- 5 years technical sales experience including prospecting, negotiating, presenting, and closing skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in the data center industry.
- Close proximity to major airports and data center markets.
Compensation
- $70,000.00 – 90,000.00 with OTE of $150,000+
