POSTION SUMMARY:

EPS is seeking an Test Engineer II to assist with development for testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. The test engineer II will gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within this job function. This position is located in Logan, UT.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: :

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience executing to program schedules and budgets
• Experience estimating work and cost
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Detail oriented, process driven and customer focused Experience designing tests
• Experience writing test plans, procedures and reports
• Experience reducing and analyzing data
• Experience interpreting, generating and editing; block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, mechanical and electrical drawings, and, interface description documents
• Experience specifying, designing, building and troubleshooting test hardware
• Experience writing, debugging and editing test software and scripts
• Experience with common electric power devices including: relays, contactors, fuses, and monitors
• Experience with common sensors including: thermocouples, thermistors, accelerometers, load cells, strain gauges, fluid pressure sensors, and flowmeters
• Experience with dataloggers and data acquisition systems
• Experience using electrical meters, power supplies, scopes, analyzers and signal generators
• Experience with common wire, cable and connectors
• Experience crimping and soldering
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite of tools
• Ability to train and mentor junior engineers

Required Education and Relevant Experience::

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, systems or aerospace engineering.
