POSITION SUMMARY


The NAACP Testing Support Coordinator provides field and logistical support, maintains testing procedures for organization-based events, and provides guidance and knowledge with health and safety regulations. This role is for the purpose of identifying and addressing support needs related to COVID-19 screening/testing.


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES


  • Utilizes public relations techniques;
  • Gathers best practices and models for implementation to inform the evolution of work-based COVID-19 screening/testing and other COVID mitigation strategies;
  • Coordinates screening/testing efforts;
  • Ensures compliance with established guidelines;
  • Coordinates contact tracing for the purpose of keeping all affected parties informed and in compliance with established guidelines;
  • Supports proactive and reactive communications through various channels for the purpose of providing and receiving necessary information;
  • Participates in a learning collaborative for the purpose of documenting learnings and elevating best-practices quickly;
  • Works with Health Commons, local county health jurisdictions, and Department of Health for the purpose of conveying and receiving relevant information;
  • Provides support with other COVID-19 mitigation strategies as need arises and time allows;
  • Supports assigned administrators for the purpose of assisting them in the completion of their work activities;
  • Assists COVID-19 Safety Team for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment; and
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the [supervisor] or assignees.


QUALIFICATIONS


Education/Professional Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience working in operational related roles and spaces;
  • Possess deep knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures and risk management concepts;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • Knowledge of current local and federal COVID-19 safety policies and procedures;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to explain data to influence decisions;
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission, values, and goals of the aligned organizations; and
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
