Menchey Music Service is accepting applications for engaging and dynamic people just like you to join our sales team at the Timonium, MD location! Our retail associates are our connection to the community and play a vital role in our mission as a company in the music industry. We serve communities from central Pennsylvania to Maryland and have a strong vision to enrich everyone's lives through music!
In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by:

• Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc.
• Renting - band, orchestra & other instruments, accessible to everyone!
• Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music!

Other duties include:

• Troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions
• Maintaining a clean and organized store
• Opening and closing the store according to policies
• Cash handling - daily balancing of cash drawer
• Training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques

Required Experience:

• Current High School Student or HS Diploma/GED
• Ability to play at least 1 musical instrument
• General knowledge of musical instruments and written music
