The Tire Inventory Specialist will support the inventory department by maintaining and evolving the organization’s tire inventory, ordering, and supplying.

The Tire Inventory Specialist will support the inventory department by maintaining and evolving the organization’s tire inventory, ordering, and supplying.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

- Order stocking tires daily as required by delivery schedules
- Identify and follow up with any tire orders that are aging
- Create tire stocking plans for all new locations as needed
- Perform tire refresh plans for all locations annually to keep all tire inventory up to date
- Monitor tire unit counts versus existing stocking plans
- Identify locations with overstocked tires and set up returns
- Create seasonal tire stocking plans (winter tires)
- Set up seasonal returns for winter tires
- Perform tire price updates in point of sale as required
- Identify and make adjustments for product changes in point of sale
- Eliminate discontinued units / add new
- Add new tire lines to point of sale as required
- Build tire part numbers as needed
- Understanding of product screen offering from tire suppliers
- Monitor tire inventory variance in all locations
- Corrective actions as needed
- Support Non-Tire inventory team as required
- Support inventory team and accounting for month-end reporting
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors and distributors
- Perform site visits to verify inventory as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, or related software.

Physical Demands

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, drive, and climb at times.
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds at times.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to navigate warehouses and automotive repair facilities and reach items both high and low.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

- Working knowledge of tires required
- Inventory work experience or related field preferred
