My Gym South Shore (locations in Cohasset and Norwell) is looking to grow its family of talented teachers! About us... There are approximately 200 My Gym Children's Fitness Centers in the US and hundreds more around the world. My Gym South Shore has been locally owned and successfully operated by David Ames for over 13 years. We primarily teach early learning “Parent & Me” programs for babies and toddlers and fun independent fitness classes for children ages 3 through 7 years. We also offer some birthday parties on weekends and camp programs in the summer.

Here is what we offer our teachers...

• Extremely competitive salaries which are based on their background and experience.
• Flexibility with their teaching schedule. Shifts at My Gym typically range from 5 to 9 hours each day. We like our teachers to work either 4 or 5 days each week. We have weekend shifts that are between 5 and 7 hours in length, and most weekends (but not all) we ask our teachers to work a weekend shift. If teachers are looking for mostly weekend work, we can offer that too.
• Flexibility with vacation time. We want our staff to have a great work/life balance.
• Exceptional on the job training that is adjusted to your pace and ability to learn.
• Our corporate office creates our weekly class curriculum. There is very little prep work required of our teachers other than studying our class programming and using our online curriculum system that provides videos and reading materials.

Here is what we are looking for....

• You must be a high energy person and fit enough to be on your feet for multiple classes in a row. You also need to have the ability to do basic gymnastic skills like hanging from a bar and lifting your feet to the bar and doing a summersault.
• You must be genuinely outgoing and enjoy customer service and children.
• If you have a background in acting, singing, or any type of performing, that is a big plus. My Gym teachers need to keep the attention of groups, so expressive people that are comfortable with being the center of attention make great My Gym teachers.
• Ability to work 4 or 5 shifts a week (about 25 to 35 hours). We run AM and PM shifts and all day shifts.
