TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Education/Training

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Relevant licenses or certifications preferred

Experience

Qualified applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources, workforce development, education, educational administration, mentoring, or similar fields. Experience as a trainer or subject matter expert in the electrical and/or general construction fields is preferred.

Job Description

• Create/develop/coordinate training curriculum and schedule
• Train subject-matter experts and other instructors on effective teaching methods
• Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of training programs
• Create, track, and maintain training records
• Recruit and train new trainers/instructors
• Remain current in new training methods and techniques
• Selecting and sourcing training materials, curricula, and resources
• Develop a mentorship program and train mentors on effective mentoring techniques
• Classroom instruction, including acting as lead instructor in non-technical areas such as leadership and professional development
