Job description
- continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date
- providing timely and accurate communication regarding inbound purchase orders in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date to allow for the development of effective mitigation strategies
- maximizing on-time deliveries into Publix facilities by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants
- tracking seasonal items, highly sensitive items, and expedited transfers
- monitoring delays at shipping and receiving locations to minimize cost to Publix and ensure carriers are compensated for the time delayed

Required Qualifications:
- have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation or an analytical field
- be able to work flexible hours and be available on weekends
- be able to work extended periods of time
- be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before his or her start date in the position)
- be able to be detail oriented
- be able to handle change on a regular basis
- be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner
