TSSCI Communications Officer:

Location: Vandenberg AFB, CA (100% onsite)

Salary: 125-135k

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Clearance: MUST HAVE ACTIVE TSSCI CLEARANCE

Day-to-Day:

Our team is currently looking for someone to join us in support of a classified Space customer and help manage all communications relating to public affairs, digital communications, and strategy regarding external stakeholders for our Space Domain Awareness mission on Vandenberg AFB, CA. This individual will be responsible for monitoring events on the space domain & awareness operations floor. They will then create reports, briefings, and communications items for senior leadership to assist the mission with its communications affairs across different stakeholders. They will be taking events that are being tracked and will help to develop communications items by writing articles and publishing talking points on these topics. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to further their career in the space defense area as well as having the ability to make a large impact on how space domain and awareness tactics are being communicated across multiple government entities.

Must-haves:

-Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience OR 7+ years of related experience and no degree

-TSSCI clearance

-Experience in public affairs or digital communications

-Exceptional writing and communications skills

Plusses:

-Space policy experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
