Twins Youth Baseball provides opportunities for youth ballplayers to develop their baseball skills through various training programs.

Our goal is to provide Upper Midwest youth with quality baseball instruction in a safe and encouraging atmosphere, and programs cater to athletes wanting to improve their baseball skills in a serious instructional setting.

Participants in our programs range in age from 3 - 18. Our programs feature training in general and specialized baseball skills including hitting, defense, throwing, pitching, strength & conditioning and mental skills.

We are looking for experienced, dedicated, and passionate coaches to lead the players through each training program. Coaches are responsible for the supervision of athletes, skill instruction, providing a safe environment, and serving as a positive role model. This position's primary responsibility will be to assist the Program Director with camp operations and instruction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be positive role model at all times
• Instruct daily baseball and other predetermined physical activities
• Coordinate with Program Director and other staff for daily logistics and practice plans
• Represent the Minnesota Twins in a positive manner
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated youth development experience
• Advanced knowledge of baseball with some coaching experience
• Demonstrated experience and emotional commitment to working with youth and families
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass background check
• Knowledge, skills, and Abilities necessary to preform essential functions
• Demonstrate the ability to be prepared and organized for every program day
• Commitment to achieving the articulated objectives of the Program
• Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
• Embody the qualities of a strong role model for the Program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physical/Environmental Requirements

Coaches will be subject to inside and outside environmental conditions and will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. Job requires coaches to function in a high activity sports venue. While performing the duties of this job, coaches are regularly required to stand for long periods of time, run, jump, and climb up/down stairs.
