The PRN Unit Clerk duties include but are not limited:

• Working under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse
• Assisting with front desk operations and performs various clerical duties, such as: typing, utilizing computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Answering telephones
• Scheduling patients for surgery and insuring necessary paperwork is kept in order

Licensures/Certifications

• Certified in BLS from AHA or ARC

Education/Experience

• One year previous related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Capable of performing receptionist duties in a courteous and cooperative manner.
