The Colony Center for Health Rehabilitation is looking for a temporary Unit Manager to join their facility!

What You Will Do:

• Unit Managers are primarily responsible for overseeing day-to-day patient care, supervising, directing and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
• Reviews written daily assignments for each resident on the assigned unit. Assures assignments are completed before the end of the shift.
• Administers medication and treatments according to the physician's orders. Assumes responsibility for ordering medications.
• Assists the attending physician with rounds and special procedures as needed.

What You Will Need:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of MA or a valid LPN license and 5+ years of LTC experience
• Previous Managerial experience (preferred)

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Physical setting:

• Long term care

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Nursing: 4 years (Preferred)
• long-term care: 3 years (Preferred)
• supervisory: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN or LPN (Preferred)
