University Partnership Manager- (Remote Opportunity)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager, University Partnership is a member of the Partnerships team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of assigned accounts under the direction and support of the Senior Vice President, Partnership. The Manager, University Partnership collaborates with the Partnership Director of assigned accounts and coordinates with internal operations teams to ensure excellence in partner services and execution of business operations. The Manager, University Partnership is accountable for driving towards established performance goals. The Manager, University Partnership exemplifies strong communication skills, business acumen and aptitude for building strong relationships. Working with a Partnership Director, the Manager, University Partnership will drive towards operational excellence, using innovation to solve problems and lead growth with partner relationships, services, and programs.

Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Responsible for advising on operational processes and plans, contributes to fiscal budget development
  • Collaborates and sets meetings with Operations, Enrollment, LXD and Marketing/Brand teams to ensure operational plans and processes align with partner goals, images and overall “voice”
  • Works with internal and external operations teams to verify goals, ensure alignment and set expectations on consistent standards for service success
  • Contributes to the strategy and operations for assigned partners, with input from the Director
  • This role currently does not have any direct reports.

Tactical

  • Manages day to day performance and operations, reports variances in KPIs to Partnership Director
  • Completes preliminary analysis of performance, including P&L variances, for assigned partners
  • Escalation point of contact for institution service areas (Registrar, FA, Academics, etc.)
  • Acts as a secondary point of escalation point of contact for LXD/faculty engagement, student support, accounting and marketing
  • Manages the day to day partner communications/presentations, with value propositions and strategic initiatives, including the creation and delivery of presentations to the Partner(s) and Bisk leaders
  • Ensures partner Standard Operating Procedures, workflows, data integrations and communication plans are maintained and communicated throughout the company
  • Manages contract updates, modifications and assists with new negotiations
  • Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Bisk information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Other duties, as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Fiscal responsibility
  • Analytical skills using data to make recommendations
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with good presentation skills
  • Leadership ability with strong interpersonal skills, team oriented and proactive
  • Project management, leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to effectively partner with divergent groups
  • Experience in managing the prospecting and sales cycles in post-secondary education
  • Excellent organizational and follow through skills
  • Good negotiating skills

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in service marketing, educational marketing/sales, software marketing or brand/product marketing management
  • Associates Required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing/MBA preferred
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Travel may be required up to 35%
