Job description
Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers and management.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide inventory support throughout various channels and cross functional areas within the warehouse.
- Correspond directly with URBN personnel companywide to provide accurate inventory data and resolve discrepancies.
- Responsible for managing the virtual location for all lost cases at IFC and provide root cause analysis to course correct training inefficiencies leading to shrink.
- Work directly with cycle counters to audit overages, shortages, and missed locations.
- Support cycle count team to ensure deadlines are met/exceeded for quarterly cycling.
- Communicate with equipment operators and cycle counters to assist with triggers and same-day reconciliation of locations with inventory discrepancies.
- Partner directly with the flow coordinator and leads for proper consumption of cases to ensure inventory accuracy relating to the status 10 report.
- Maintain login credentials and utilize all software necessary to validate inventory counts and case history.
- Become a direct liaison to the contact center for inventory related questions resulting from customer escalations and proactively communicate inventory matters to mitigate future order cancelations.
- Provide direct support to equipment operators for alternate locations and case inquiries for picking and put away.
- Answer inventory related emails and provide excellent customer service.
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- All other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
- High school degree or GED required
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work continuously on a computer
- Problem solving and reporting skills
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with inventory control
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
