US LRR Business Oversight – VP

As a Barclays US Laws, Rules, and Regulations Business Oversight – Vice President, you’ll support the Americas Head of Compliance Risk Oversight in delivering Compliance elements of the group wide program to enhance Barclays’ approach to managing Laws, Rules, and Regulations applicable to the firm and support the design and implementation of a governance framework and associated risk-based reporting to ensure the escalation and remediation of Compliance Risk relating to Americas LRR and/or global LRR, applicable to the Americas businesses.
Salary/ Rate Minimum: $145,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $186,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
- Supporting the implementation of Compliance deliverables in the group wide program to enhance Barclays’ approach to managing Laws, Rules, and Regulations
- Participating in the embedment of the Laws, Rules, and Regulation Risk Management Policy and Standard
- Providing any assistance needed to senior stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of actions in line with the program
- Producing key artefacts and reports to showcase/ record Compliance deliverables
- Determining proactively any challenges or blockers for delivery and work with stakeholders to effectively resolve these
- Focusing on the design and implementation of this framework, and dealing with its execution and maintenance in BAU
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of Americas regulatory environment and the key Laws, Rules and Regulation that apply to Barclays operations in the region
- Experience supporting the roll-out of a Control Framework and/or other change initiatives
- Work experience in Legal, Compliance or a similar Controls Function with vast check and challenge capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel and experience taking minutes, tracking actions, coordinating meetings and forums
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience working in Financial Services and a solid grasp of effective Governance, Risk and Controls processes
- Proven experience working independently and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Previous experience working in a fast paced and high-profile transformational program including proven stakeholder management skills

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
