The Payroll Manager is responsible for performing Payroll-related duties on a professional level and
works closely with both management and non-management team members. The position pays
employees and compiles payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports;
maintaining records. co-ordinate, direct and control payroll processing and distribution. This is an onsite position in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of payroll staff
- Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
- Monitor the payroll and direct the preparation of payroll related documents
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data. oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
- Performance manage and develop payroll staff as needed
- Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
- Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate account balances
- Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
- Oversee the maintenance of current employee data systems
- Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
- Process payroll checks for Team Member
- Interpret new legislation impacting payroll
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
- Managerial/supervisory experience
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
- Solid financial acumen
- Proficiency in relevant payroll and accounting software
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Planning and organizingScheduling and monitoring
