This position is responsible for cleaning: Suites, offices, the main concourse, locker rooms, restrooms, arena seating bowl, areas outside the GIANT Center and all other associated areas of the GIANT Center.

Job Functions:

• Maintaining adequate supplies throughout the GIANT Center
• Reporting any maintenance or preventative maintenance issues
• Able to maintain a superior level of cleanliness that must be reached in every suite within the GIANT Center.
• Assist with any aspect of the daily operation of the GIANT Center to include, but not limited to: Restroom cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, operation of shampoo machine, mopping, stripping and waxing floors, installation and removal of the arena floor, and operating snow removal equipment

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have at least three (3) years of verifiable housekeeping work experience.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be well groomed and have a professional appearance.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and capable of working alone.
• Must be able to clean 20 suites within eight (8) hours.
• Must have an ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and cleaning chemical labels.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Must be able to use all associated cleaning equipment.
• Successful candidate will possess a positive guest service attitude.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Job involves use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds; considerable walking, and bending as well as carrying backpack type vacuums.
• Work environment will include working outside in both cold and hot weather.
• May assist in the removal and installation of the arena floor.
• Must be able to work at heights of 100 feet.
• This is a Union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
