Experienced Veterinary Assistant needed for our Fear Free practice on the beautiful island of Vashon. Vashon Island is a wonderful community of animal lovers and can be accessed from West Seattle, Downtown Seattle or Port Orchard. The practice will pay ferry tickets.
We are a single doctor, paperless practice that practices the highest quality of medicine with an emphasis on the fear free atmosphere. We have a goal of becoming a "wellness oriented" practice that utilizes a variety of methods to provide comfort and care to our patients.
We offer a non-chaotic, positive, warm, and loving atmosphere for clients, staff and animals alike. If you are unfamiliar with Fear Free practices or ways, don't worry! We are willing to train and certify you and you'll be so glad you did!
The most important qualities in a veterinary assistant for 4 Paws are: compassion for people and pets, good communication skills with staff and clients, team spirit, practical skills and a positive outlook on veterinary medicine.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
