The Family Pet Clinic is looking for a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting our surgical team.
- Post-Op patient recovery.
- General patient care, feeding, bathing and walking.
- Preparation of surgical instruments, gowns, towels and necessities.
- Conduct appointments, restrain patients and invoice services.
- Take x-rays and assist with ultrasounds.
- Process lab samples and prepare prescriptions.
- Charting and logging patient information, some data entry.
- Cleaning and laundry.
Additional Skills Required:
- Attentiveness.
- Self-driven.
- Organized.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to contribute and work in a team atmosphere.
We would love if candidates had 6 months of veterinary experience BUT are definitely willing to train a mature, focused, and quick to learn individual! If you are hungry for knowledge and experience - we are the place for you!

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
