VCA Ark Animal Hospital looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor.
At VCA Ark Animal Hospital, we want you to utilize the skills and experience you’ve gained over your years in this profession and lead and mentor our Veterinary Technician Staff.
Being a Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills and have a clear career path.
In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing department policies and procedures.
- Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
- Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
- Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.
- Delivering employee performance feedback.
- Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

The hospital is located in a quiet neighborhood, has quick access to public transportation (Blue line, I-90, and train station), and is within walking distance of several popular restaurants and breweries.
