Position:

Structured Finance - Investment Banking Vice President

We are looking for a highly motivated, experience Vice President to join our New York office immediately to focus on structured products. The successful candidate will work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high quality advice to our clients. You will play an important role on a team that includes senior professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the data and think strategically.

Responsibility:

• The successful candidate will play a central role in all aspects of executing structured product private placement transactions and developing strategic dialog with clients
• Manage day-to-day structure finance deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, client management teams, transaction counterparties and other advisors
• Proactive calling on potential new clients including alternative investment managers (hedge funds, private equity, private credit, BDCs, etc.), financial institutions, privately held business owners and publicly traded companies
• Assist clients in due diligence by coordinating the information flow, supervising calls and meetings between the parties, as well as reviewing and analyzing company information
• Design and analyze structured financing transaction structures and identify key drivers of sustainability value

Qualifications:

• At least 5 full years of experience in Structured Products, Investment Banking. Infrastructure/Project Financing, or a Corporate Finance related role.
• Series 79, 63 required / Series 7, 24 (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Management or Economics degrees preferred / Master's degree preferred
• Understanding of collateral risk characteristics, deal structures, terms, and conditions
• Must have familiarity with securitization legal documents
• Ability to develop valuation approaches for various forms of securities and unique instruments including equity and debt securities, loans, derivative instruments, structured products and intangible assets
• Oversee development of securitization cash flow models and cash flow scenario analyses for issuers, rating agencies and investors
• Experience managing the day-to-day execution of different types of structured product transactions
• Experience leading day-to-day execution of securitization transactions
• Excellent technology skills with superior Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm
• Strict attention to detail with demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in team environments

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
