MedBest is partnered with a highly reputable Continuum of Care Retirement Community in Virginia to help identify their next Vice President of Health Services.

The Vice President of Health Services position is responsible for oversight of all care areas to include: health care (long-term and skilled nursing), assisted living, memory care, and the Resident/Employee clinic. In addition, the VP will manage the following contracted services: rehabilitation services, pharmacy services and provider contracts for the medical director and other healthcare professionals.
The VP will report to the President/CEO and work collaboratively with other members of the executive and senior leadership teams. Care area leaders reporting directly to the VP will be the Administrator of Health Care and the Administrator of Assisted Living.

Qualifications for consideration:
This person must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of Virginia or eligible for reciprocity
Must currently be licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s Degree is preferred
Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in long term care
2-5 years of experience in home care, palliative care and hospice is preferred (but not required)
