Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios
As Video Editor, you will...
Edit and convert video between various formats for delivery
- Create Motion Graphics and composite
- Capture and edit HD and 4K game footage
- Assist in live production
- Produce a variety of short videos to market the company and its games
What Makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
You're knowledgeable in design principles and current tools including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop or other professional video editing platforms,- You have 3-5 years of professional experience at a game developer/publisher, TV studio, production house, or ad agency focusing on trailer or commercial production
- You adhere to workflow standards and process
- You possess the ability to meet tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure
- You have great creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- You have a strong visual style and familiarity with concepts such as composition, light, space, shape, etc. as they pertain to photography/videography
- You have a basic understanding and skill with the broad aspects of live video production: video camera knowledge (frame rates, shutter speeds, aperture, ISO, white balance, composition), simple lightings setups (eg. three-point lighting), basic audio (shotgun mic. and boom pole use), etc.
- You are tech savvy and have an understanding of interactive technology
- You have a passion for games
- Knowledge of Bethesda Game Studios games is a plus
