Description

The CTEC training team is seeking a Videographer & Video Editor to support the Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) User Experience Directorate (UXD). As a Videographer & Video Editor, you will support the design and development of relevant, high-quality video-based and animated learning assets, to be delivered on their own and/or as part of an overall course curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver high quality short videos to augment DAU’s curriculum
• Develop scripts and storyboards in cooperation with DAU Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts
• Edit video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Work with motion graphics designers to develop and incorporate animated content

Requirements

• Capability to work at the DAU facility located at Fort Belvoir, VA, approximately 25% of the time when creating and producing filming events.
• East coast core hours of 9am to 3pm
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• At least 4 years of experience working as a Videographer & Video Editor, preferably on live action training, “how-to” videos, explainer videos or other instructional media

· Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite a must—specifically:

• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong technical editing skills and a background in creative storytelling through visual media
• Capability to capture process flows and document best practices of video production, editing, and deployment
• Experience with Camtasia a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience working with Federal agencies preferred

· Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
