Village Care Center Operator

Job Title: Care Center Operator

Job Function:

As the Village Care Center Operator, you will be the first point of contact for associates from Village Super Market. You will confidentially gather information regarding call outs, worker’s compensation, leave of absence, questions and concerns then redirect phone calls or create follow up for other business partners.

To be successful as our Care Center Operator, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a calm, timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

Essential Job Duties:

● Greet and welcome associates via phone as they call the Associate Care Center

● Answer, screen, gather information and accurately log phone calls into Village Care Center System

● Direct associates’ concerns to the appropriate department within the VCCC

● Assess and determine business partner follow up for associate’s questions

● Provide basic and accurate information according to provided policies via phone/email

● Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

● Go the extra mile to engage Associates

Requirements:

● Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

● Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Meet, etc)

● Professional attitude and appearance

● Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

● Solid written and verbal communication skills

● Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

● Excellent organization skills

● Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

● Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

● High school degree

● This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility in scheduling is a plus

● Fluency in Spanish is a plus

● Ability to sit for a minimum of 4-8 hour shifts, while answering the phone and logging information

● Ability to wear a headset for entire shift

● Willingness to offer administrative support across the organization

● Complete training modules where necessary (HIPAA, System training, etc.)

● Team player that is able to jump in and help with additional projects, as assigned

● Availability and contribution to team huddles

● Reliable internet

● Quiet workspace

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
