Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Part Time Case Aides in Prescott Valley.
No experience needed. We offer paid training starting from day one! The Case Aide is the perfect position for a determined paraprofessional, caregiver, or aspiring social worker looking for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity. Our teams will provide you all the training and support to succeed in this role while finishing your education, balancing a family, or just getting started in your social work career.
This position works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.
Job Responsibilities:
- Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care
- Fostering positive family relations.
- Providing support in developing helpful parenting skills
- Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, supports, and community resources.
- Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
- Documenting all services appropriately.
This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work.
Requirements :
- Case Aides must be 21 years or older.
- High School/GED or a minimum of a related Associate’s Degree
- An acceptable 5 year driving record: No more than two (2) minor moving violations in the past 39 months; no major moving violations in the past 39 months; no At-Fault accidents in the past 39 months; no license suspensions/revocations in the past 3 years.
- Candidates are required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance, and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect. CPR, First Aid, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
Compensation: DOE
Part-time benefits are limited but include:
