Logistics Procurement Service Associate

The Logistics Procurement team supports the Greater Pennsylvania Regional disaster response department by obtaining materials and supplies for the Disaster Response Operations through numerous sources. The team delivers timely and cost-effective supplies in preparation for and during times of local and widespread disaster incidents.

Qualifications

· Comfortable working independently and as a part of a team

· Comfortable working behind the scenes procuring disasters operations with necessary material

· Familiarity with proper moving, lifting and storing of material Good organizational skills, responsible and punctual.

· Demonstrates active listening skills.

· Ability to implement Standards and Procedures and follow associated job tools including reporting requirements.

· Ability to complete assigned tasks.

· Ability to use materials and space effectively.

· Ability to participate and contribute to regular meetings.

· Ability to acquire and evaluate information

· Ability to research and conduct resourcing requirements.

· Ability to place orders for goods and services.

· Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

· Action Oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
