Overview:

The VP, Financial Solutions will be a global finance executive responsible for all aspects of developing and executing our commercial financing initiative. This role will work closely with global and regional organizations and regional account executives, as well as Finance and Treasury. This role will lead a team uniquely positioned to provide credit and treasury capabilities to clients seeking more flexible and modular payment solutions. This role will build and then market commercial financial solutions to enhance flexibility of our accounts receivable financial products and solutions and to support our vision of becoming a digital leader, serving new types of customers and enhanced payment flows. The role will initially lead a team of finance specialists. As the products and solutions gain traction, the team will grow and include additional skillsets, including but not limited to, selling roles. In addition, this leader will work in a matrixed fashion drawing on expertise across Finance, Marketing, Legal, Treasury and Technology.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
  • Provide consultancy and subject matter expertise on Special Financing activities and services both internally for the product team but also serve as a trusted advisor to our external customer in supporting their financing needs.
  • Expected to include commercial financing, floorplanning, dating programs, public sector financing, and factoring. (20%)
  • Lead and direct daily operational support to commercial financing products and services including any reporting, execution outside of TD SYNNEX for core products, API development, etc. (20%)
  • Identify and engage with reseller partners, financial institutions and commercial banks to the extent needed or requested by account executives globally (20%)
  • Partner with strategy and product marketing to prioritize use cases for the various finance products in market and in develop new programs to support initiatives (20%)
  • Implement an appropriate governance structure to maximize effectiveness of the cross-functional team (20%)

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.
  • 5 to 8 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

Education & Certifications:
  • Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Finance or similar field of Study preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree with Finance, Accounting or similar field of study required.

Working Conditions:
  • Professional, office environment.
  • Some travel required, around 30%
