Carpentry Contractors Company, a part of Lyman Companies, a Division of US LBM is seeking Wall and Floor Panel assemblers at our Montrose location.

Schedule: 1st Shift: FT 5am-3:30pm Mon-Thur (OT possible on Fri)

FT 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

PT 5am-10am or 10:30am-3:30pm

2nd Shift: FT 4pm-2:30am Mon-Thur (OT possible)

PT 4pm-8:30pm

Wage: 1st Shift: $20.00 per hour starting wage FT

$18.00 per hour starting wage PT

2nd Shift: $22.00 per hour starting wage FT (includes $2 shift differential)

$19.00 per hour starting wage PT

How You Will Spend Your Days as a Carpenter:

• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, and conforming to local building codes: Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
• Selects specified type of lumber or other materials.
• Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and calipers.
• Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials, using pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Shapes materials to prescribed measurements, using saws, chisels, and planes.
• Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Conducts oneself only in a professional way while associated with Carpentry Contractors.
• Works in a safe manner always and consistently provide a safe work environment.
