Warehouse and Distribution Manager

Start date: ASAP

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

This an excellent opportunity for an experience Warehouse and Distribution Manager to join one of the worlds most innovative Medical Device manufacturing companies.

The successful candidate will manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all daily resources are adequate to maximise productivity
• Develops and manages department KPI’s to improve performance and efficiency
• Responsible for inventory and collaboration with inventory control team
• Execution and assurance of performance reviews for the department with derivation of training/improvement actions
• Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements
• Maintain and create procedures and QM documentation in compliance with FDA requirements
• Monitoring and management of department expenses in line with the defined budget
• Maintain positive work environment and work relation to other departments as well as affiliated facilities.
• Responsible for creating and recommending strategic plans to maximise warehouse performance and future growth
• Planning of personnel, investments and expenses for all internal and external warehouse locations
• Development and implementation of standards that support operational excellence targets to reduce cost and improve efficiency of warehouse and distribution center
• Responsible for supplier relationship and negotiations with freight carriers and other service providers

Minimum Knowledge/education requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field of study (Preferred)
• At least 7 years of experience in supply chain or warehouse management that includes Lean Management experience (Preferred)
• Experience in leading a large team in a manufacturing environment
• ISO, GMP knowledge/experience
