Job description
Gulf Coast Panama Jack is a wholesale company that sells beach novelties such as: towels, chairs, apparel, umbrella, sun care, and swim gear. We are currently looking to fill a full-time warehouse position.
Primary job duties are, but not limited to:
Unloading trucks and containers of merchandise
Stocking merchandise in designated areas
Pulling merchandise to fulfill orders and transfers between warehouses
Relabeling and/or repackaging merchandise
Some conditions are:
Continuous standing and squatting
Lifting boxes up to 60lbs
Walking on hard concrete floor
Exposure to extreme temperatures
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience
Experience operating a forklift (preferred, not required)
Ability to do basic math without a calculator
Ability to read and comprehend
Ability to write legibly
Ability to work independently with limited guidance or supervision
Ability to work as a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with time constraints
Ability to think analytically and solve problems
Ability to work as scheduled
Shift: 8am - 5:00pm M-F - Overtime as needed
