Sodexo Live! at the University of Mississippi is looking to hire Warehouse Worker/Stocker
Job Duties and Expectations
This is a list of job duties and expectations of the warehouse worker. This is not a comprehensive list, as there may be tasks asked to do that are not listed here, as the goal for all employees is to improve the operations here at Ole Miss.
- Concessions stands have all product and equipment they need. This includes, but not limited to:
- Unload deliveries when they arrive
- Using stock sheet, taking the appropriate product to each location
- Putting the product into the proper place at each location
- Fridge items into fridges
- Freezer items into freezers
- Other products onto shelves where they belong
- Always have product off the ground
- Should not just leave product on the front counter
- Reporting broken equipment so that it can get repaired or replaced
- The Warehouse should be organized and cleaned. This includes, but not limited to:
- Backup product that has come in is put inside the warehouse and organized
- Shelves are kept organized and clean
- All like product is kept together, with only one partial box in front
- Empty boxes are disposed of
- Pallets are kept organized and clean

- Once product begins to be pulled from a pallet, the shrink wrap is removed and thrown away
- Pallets are not placed in a way to block access to another product
- Floor is kept clean and clutter free
- All trash is removed daily
- Floor is swept daily
- Floor is mopped weekly unless needed more frequently
- Clear walkways are left open with access to all product
- Concessions stands and equipment is clean. This includes, but not limited to:
- Before a season starts, going through the concessions stands to make sure the stands are clean and equipment works
- During the season, reporting cleaning issues that you come across while stocking the stands. If this is a serious food safety issue, clean up immediately
- At the end of a game, going through the post-game checklist to make sure we are shut down properly
- Changing oil in fryers throughout the season to keep the oil fresh
- After the season ends, cleaning the stands and shutting them down to be able to make the start up easier
- Supporting the concessions stands on gameday to make sure they don’t run out of product. This includes, but not limited to:
- Checking on the concessions stands to make sure they have all the product they need
- Helping to run product to the concessions stands if they are busy
- Checking equipment that might not be working right
- Making sure cages and fridges are unlocked before the stand workers arrive
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Shift availability:
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Day Shift (Preferred)
