Warehouse Associate - 3:00pm-11:30pm

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for promoting a safe and productive work environment within all warehouse areas. The Warehouse Associate will assist with all daily warehouse operating tasks, including, but not limited to, receiving, loading, documentation control, line pulling and cleaning the warehouse areas.

LEAD WITH INTEGRITY

• Promotes food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization and implements safe practices and safety awareness.
• Report and hold any product or equipment that is a potential food safety, food quality risk or employee safety risk.
• Visibly inspect inbound pallets for damages and shortages.

COLLABORATING INTENTIONALLY

• Must be willing to cross train and perform other duties as assigned.

BE AN OWNER

• Receive, load and unload ingredients and finished product.
• Pull ingredients for Production.
• Strictly adheres to allergen storage management throughout the warehouse.

ACT ON GOOD DATA

• Assist inventory control with cycle counts, month end evaluations, product retention and replenishment.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee will be subject to very warm and very cool temperatures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and kneeling continuously throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with overtime and weekends required as needed. Hours are 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Preferred Education and Experience

• RF Scan Gun experience
• Inventory experience
• Stand-Up, Pacer and Reach Truck experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
