Shift: 7:00am-5:00pm
Pay:16.00
The ideal candidate will have some working knowledge of tractors, landscape equipment or construction equipment. The candidate will need to have their own complete set of basic mechanical tools (specialty tools will be provided). Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, and no lifting restrictions (Technicians regularly lift 75 lbs+ on a daily basis). Candidate will be certified to operate a forklift and may be subject to random or incident-based drug testing. Candidate MUIST be able to read and write in English. This positions works outside in our non-climate controlled shop (with a fan an a Porta-Cool provided). Technicians must be able to tolerate a range of weather and temperatures, including the Florida afternoon heat. This is a well-established business in the Fort Myers area for over 51 years.
Job Description Examples
- Assemble equipment from factory
- Load and unload trucks, help maintain equipment in the yard and shop
- Install accessories and dealer installed options
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil changes, etc.)
- Assist Repair Technicians as needed
- Work on different types of equipment including but not limited to tractors, box blades, rotary cutters, other 3-point attachments, zero-turns, other mowers, skid steers, backhoes, excavators, etc.
We are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude. Shifts are from 7:00AM to 5:00 PM with occasional Saturdays. Saturdays are required when needed. Paid time off at 1 year. Paid holidays. If we are closed for a Monday holiday (like Memorial Day) we also close that Saturday.
