Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products to/from a central warehouse. The primary responsibility for this position will be working within the warehouse's e-commerce section.

Position Information: The warehouse is located in Torrance, CA, and is a part-time position.

% Essential Job Functions:

45 Receives all shipments for inventory and non-inventory items. Ensures shipments are accurate and received on time. Accurately labels incoming products and stores them in appropriate warehouse location. Notifies Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies between order and shipment received, and ensures credit is received for missing product, as appropriate. Files invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders in a timely manner.

25 Responsible for inventory control in the warehouse: rotates product ("first-in, first-out"); identifies low and out-of-stock items; ensures returns are processed correctly; identifies any damaged and/or expiring products; and meets or exceeds established shrinkage goals.

20 Distributes product to the stores, based on an established schedule. Ensures that delivered product is placed in the appropriate location within the store, as indicated by manager preference. Picks store transfers, and resolves any transfer discrepancies with store-based staff. Picks up warehouse returns and any items designated for the warehouse and/or corporate office.

10 Cleans delivery vehicle at least twice monthly, and arranges for maintenance, as needed. Performs store and warehouse physical inventory counts, as assigned and communicated by the Warehouse Manager. Ensures the warehouse is safe, clean, and free of hazards. Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Minimum Years of Additional Related Experience:

• Six months of previous experience working in a warehouse environment is strongly preferred.

• Able to professionally and effectively interact and communicate with staff, customers, and a public from diverse cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative, prioritize and accurately perform multiple tasks, and efficiently meet deadlines and changing priorities.
• Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Able to travel throughout greater Los Angeles and Orange counties; acceptable driving record per insurance carrier standards required).

Physical Requirements (Approximate Percent per 8-hour Workday):

• Constant visual stimulation, including close vision (up to 100%).
• Frequent standing (up to 60%).
• Frequent walking (up to 60%)
• Frequent squatting, bending, reaching, pulling, and twisting (up to 60%).
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance (up to 60%)
• Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car (up to 30%).
