Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summary:

Receive, identify, and store all raw material, finished goods and scrap in a clean, well-organized warehouse.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Unloading, moving, and storing variety of material and/or goods.
• Verify weight and count of incoming material to associated packing slip using digital weight scale.
• Sorts and distributes material to various areas following work order instructions.
• Remove samples from incoming material for testing by Incoming Inspector.
• Identify and store incoming material after it is checked.
• Issue raw material to production personnel when required.
• Receive and store raw material and finished goods from manufacturing when production orders are complete.
• Packs, wraps, boxes, or crates material to be shipped.
• Remove material scraps from production floor and consolidate for shipment.
• Maintains order and cleanliness of shipping dock and warehouses.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months to 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to use all material handling equipment re: forklift; hand truck.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fairfield, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
