Canteen Vending Services is looking for a full-time Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist in the Oxnard, CA. location. Canteen of Coastal CA., Inc. in the 50th year of business, is a full line vending, micro market and refreshment services company. Our corporate office is in Oxnard, with divisions operating in Grover Beach and Bakersfield, servicing hundreds of accounts in retail, colleges and correctional facilities. The operation includes the most advanced equipment and services. Starting hourly rate will depend on experience. This position may develop into training for a full-time route driver position.

Job description: (not meant to be a complete job description)

• Schedule 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Sunday through Thursday + in the future, possibly Monday through Friday, overtime is required when necessary and approved. All warehouse employees stay at work until the daily job is complete and per our customer needs, schedule is subject to change
• Safely receive product from various supplier

• Rotate and store products by date
• Work performed occasionally in refrigerator and freezer (cold temperature gear provided)
• Pull orders for routes
• Load/unload route trucks
• Fast paced/safe environment
• May assist with inventory and ordering
• General warehouse maintenance and janitorial duties
• Assist with warehouse and office daily sanitizing
• Forklift driving (if certified and authorized)
• Driving company vehicles in and around the warehouse grounds (if certified and authorized)
• Reading and determining customer order details
• Daily communication with co-workers and management
• Overtime required as needed and approved to meet the needs of clients

Qualifications:

• Immediate negative Covid-19 test results and able to follow all CDC and local authorities PPE wearing requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Steel toe shoes required
• Provide current work authorization documents
• Ongoing online safety training required
• Sexual Harassment training required
• Comply, understand and support Canteen safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
• For a safe environment, and safety rules understanding, proficiency in reading and writing English language
• Can regularly and safely lift and move up to 35 lbs.
• Can and will safely buddy lift anything heavier than 35 lbs.
• Regular hours Sunday-Thursday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm + required overtime when necessary and approved. Friday's and Saturday's off, schedule subject to change to meet the needs of our customers
• Drug free workplace, TESTING REQUIRED
• Extensive federal and state criminal background check performed
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants for safety sensitive positions must be at least 18 years old in order to be given consideration

Social distancing, provide/require all employees to wear masks/gloves when required during working hours. We require all employees to wash hands regularly and use hand sanitizers between hand washing. We sanitize all work areas multiple times each day.
