Job description
This position supports operations by safely and efficiently transporting parts and finished goods as required. This position completes tasks in various warehouse locations assigned by the Production Coordinator.
- Uses various forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, distribute and store materials throughout the facility.
- Completes tasks in various warehouse locations, using defined methods by Production Coordinator and standard practice.
- Requires the ability to read Bills of Materials and Pick Sheets
- Requires the ability to accurately follow work instructions, as needed
- Training will be provided for the operation of the power industrial trucks necessary to complete job tasks.
- Support and adhere to all EHS policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma is required
- Qualified candidates must have strong attention to detail
- Qualified candidates must be able to read pick sheets.
- Qualified candidates must be able to pass all Powered-Industrial Truck Certifications needed to successfully perform all job tasks.
- Qualified candidates must be able to pass all EHS Safety requirements and recertifications at required intervals
- Experience in material handling preferred
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or heavy assembly is a definite plus
- Candidates must also have strong attention to detail and be flexible with assignment of job tasks.
- Candidates must be able to learn job tasks associated with assembly positions, if necessary.
