Warehouse Order Picker
Job description
Warehouse Order Pickers are responsible for picking cases of our products and assembling them on to pallets to be wrapped and loaded for delivery the following day.
Job Duties:
- Pick products using a voice picking system.
- Column stack product by hand to maximize effective utilization of space on trucks.
- Load picked pallets on route delivery trucks.
- Repack damaged product for resale.
- Report mechanical/safety problems to supervisor and/or fleet manager.
- Clean truck bays by sweeping them out at least once a week or as needed.
- Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to safe working practices, company policies and rules/regulations.
- Drive delivery trucks to and from loading area as required and properly parks trucks in the staging area.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
- Attention to detail to avoid mis-load errors and identify work hazards.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Full Time - Monday through Friday nights beginning at 2:00pm
Physical Requirements
- Ability to withstand continuous lifting, bending, twisting, standing, walking and reaching.
- Must be able to do repetitive lifting of various packages and weights up to, but not exceeding 200lbs.
