Title: Warehouse Person

Location: Kailua Kona, Hawaii

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Earn up to $600 Weekly!

General Summary:

Coordinates and participates in activities involved with receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products by performing the following duties

Key Responsibilities:

Arranges stock in specified sequence for distribution by other workers.

Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to loading station or stacks into trucks.

Compares stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.

Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and write, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, debits and credits or other records.

Compiles stock control records and information such as error rates and return reason codes.

Convey and move beer kegs from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas utilizing heavy equipment or drop roll and/or lift techniques.

Conveys and moves materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Drives and operates lifting equipment to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick-up items from several locations for shipment.

Marks materials with identifying information.

Opens containers, off-loads, and checks in loads.

Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or production code.

Sorts and stores some goods in refrigerated rooms.

Required:

Ability to utilize a personal computer and Microsoft Office (Excel and Microsoft Word) software.

High school diploma or equivalent

Meet the minimum requirements to sell Liquor.

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Forklift Certification Preferred

Communication Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, suppliers, employees and customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
