Citarella’s Production facility in Hunts Point, Bronx is seeking Warehouse Porters to join our team! This role is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and supporting properly cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas and other warehouse areas.

Multiple shifts

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Maintain warehouse appearance and cleanliness
• Loading and unloading store delivery trucks
• Assisting the management team with inventory maintenance
• Assisting the management team with store merchandising and layout
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests throughout the warehouse as required
• Clears all merchandise off the floor before the store opens
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to move and lift heavy objects

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time
• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 75 lbs. Working rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all customers are being serviced properly and the store operations are being completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
