We have an exciting position at our new AbilityOne Base Supply Center in Fort Meade. MD , a division of Blind Industries and Services of Maryland. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver. BISM is a leading producer of cut fabric kits and sewn products, such as military garment kits, military uniforms and other cut and sewn products.

So, what will you actually be doing?

The successful candidate will:

· Assist with receiving products, in-check, orderly assembly of orders, for customer delivery or interdepartmental transfers.

· Operate fuel and maintain vehicles, and complete required record keeping.

· Ensure periodic scheduled maintenance is completed and reported.

· Operate pallet jacks, forklifts or other material handling equipment.

· Ensure the proper transport (load and unload) of customer orders, transfers, and special orders.

· Perform other functions (loading customer purchases, assistance in the store & retail operations, light housekeeping duties, all other duties as assigned.)

Qualifications:

· Possess and maintain a clean driving record.

· Basic math computation, Microsoft Excel, Word, basic computer and reading comprehension skills are necessary.

· Maintains a current medical card and other requirements to operate a DOT registered vehicle.

· Maintains current material handling training certificates as required.

· Must be able to pass a background and credit check due to government deliveries.
