Job description

Purpose:

Receives, identifies and stores all raw material and finished goods. Operates computer terminal to input or retrieve inventory information. Complete final preparation for shipping and receiving of finished goods. Maintains all appropriate paperwork.

Position Functions:

• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Moves and stores material and finished goods using fork lift, hi-low or other material handling equipment.
• Sorts and distributes material to various areas following work orders instructions
• Operates computer terminal to input or retrieve information.
• Notify supervisor when stock reaches designated re-order point
• As required, removes finished goods from each production areas to prepare for shipment.
• Packs, wraps, boxes or crates material to be shipped; attached bill of lading; Unpacks and sorts incoming merchandise; Inspects for damage and checks shipment against bill of lading and purchase order; Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 2-3 years warehouse / shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to operate a fork lift
• Must have valid drivers license

• Monday to Friday

• East Hanover, NJ 07936: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
